“Doing the speech and getting it right was so important. I spent ages writing the speech and I was happy with how it went. At our engagement party I tried to wing it and it didn’t go as well as I’d have liked, so I was really keen to nail the wedding speech. Although, about 15 minutes before I had to make the speech, I needed to send my best man to get it as I’d left it at the apartment where we got ready!”
