The vibrant colours, stunning styling and perfect light in this lush winter wedding inspiration shoot from Figtree Wedding Photography, shot at Camellia Weddings and styled by Little Gray Station, almost has me running off to renew my vows and calling this amazing team of vendors to create it in this exact image. With a rich palette of marsala and indigo, and opulent floral installations by Alstonville Florist, this exquisite shoot is the perfect antidote for my rainy afternoon right now.
The talented team of vendors for this beautiful shoot include coordination by The Events Lounge, hire items from Hampton Event Hire, ice-cream cart worthy of any whimsical event by Wheel & Spoon and decadent cakes from Rebellyous Cake Co. Striking makeup by The Luxe Beauty Co and hair by The Beauty Lineup, completed by an ethereal lace gown by Karen Willis Holmes, and dapper groom attire from Made With Class, with Amalthea Diamonds rings. Seriously gorgeous stationery by Cleverhand Studio, lighting by AVIDEAS and content editing by Casuarina Weddings.
With such lush and vibrant greenery as a backdrop, the team wanted to use bold and rich colours that would complement the surroundings. They were inspired by the cooler climate, which was reflected in the colour palette of marsala, indigo and berry tones, and in the details like the faux sheepskin rug and warm lighting – it came to be a very luxe, winter inspired shoot.
The table scape was created to be loose and organic, with a trailing off-centre floral arrangement and scattered tapered candles in tones of marsala. All of the details together created a striking and dramatic effect. The new purpose-built shed has an almost industrial feeling with concrete floors and steel beams, so they showcased this with black wire furniture, hairpin leg tables, gold cutlery, charcoal plate ware, raw timber bench seating and drop down, “Edison” bulb lighting.
The setting created at Camellia was vibrant and bold, with a rich, moody colour palette contrasted with soft textures and unstructured florals. Bright tones of marsala and indigo were carried throughout all elements of the shoot, adding a burst of colour amongst the organic elements of timber and greenery.
Thank you to Figtree Wedding Photography, and to all the incredible vendors for sharing this amazing shoot with us today!
