What is your favourite wedding theme? Eclectic.

What inspires you? I am often inspired by contrasting themes, visions of other worlds, but also the things around me: nature as a backdrop first – as I find it a grounding element, but I am also inspired by certain themes, fairy tales, and poetry, writing, and any form of storytelling.

I love Pre-Raphaelite paintings. They give me a lot of inspiration – particularly the light and the way it hits the skin, and also the colours as well. I think that painters are such interesting subjects because they have to decide each time they change a picture, exactly how and why they are going to do something. This is a mindset that I cherish, particularly when working on my images post process.

What is special about weddings to you? All the emotion of the day that unfolds in front of my eyes. The absolute high you get from being swept up with a couple and their families’ love and happiness.
