At Polka Dot Bride, we love nothing more than soft pastels and romantic garden weddings so when we came across this Cocktail Friday’s pretty Cut Above Tea‘s Lavender Garden Cocktail we were in heaven; we think honey infused vodka mixed back with lavender and green tea is the perfect way to celebrate love and new beginnings !
- 2 tablespoons of Cup Above Tea’s Himalayan Pine loose leaf green tea
- 4 tablespoons of dried lavender blossoms
- 2 cups of sugar
- 30 ml Smirnoff wild honey infused vodka
- Springs of lavender to garnish
Mix the tea leaves and lavender blossoms together and top with 2 cups of boiling water. Leave the blend to infuse for 10 minutes or so.
Once steeped, add to a saucepan with the sugar over medium heat. Bring the liquid to a boil and stir until the sugar granules have totally dissolved. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve and let the syrup cool.
Add the wild honey infused vodka and 30ml of green tea lavender simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top the glass with lemonade and garnish with a sprig of lavender.
