If there is a cocktail for Winter that I want to make over and over again, it’s our Spiked Jaffa Orange Hot Chocolate. When I say it is the most warming hot chocolate, you’ll have to believe that there is something about the smooth chocolate and orange liqueur that made this one shoot to my “favourite hot chocolate ever” list fairly fast.
Best served with jaffa lollies on the side, of course.
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 60ml triple sec liqueur
- Whipped cream
- Shaved chocolate
- Jaffa lollies
In an ovenproof bowl over a saucepan of water, melt chocolate chips with milk and vanilla bean paste, whisking to remove lumps and create a smooth liquid consistency.
Take off the stove and whisk in triple sec.
Pour into mug and top with whipped cream if desired.
Garnish with shaved chocolate and jaffas.
