Rachel and Kyle

How gorgeous is this sweet peachy engagement shoot by Kristin Partin Photography? The couple were inspired by the romance of Valentine’s Day. The bride, Rachel made butter cookies with pink icing, brought her grandmother’s tea set and dressed in the prettiest of pastels. Kristin says “They are both heavily involved in theatre so playing the part of timeless love was not an issue for these lovebirds. We shot at an old golf course in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. The overcast weather made these photographs dreamy and simply pretty.”

Kristin explains how the coupe met, fell in love and are now on their way to getting married! “When Rachel was 15 she played Belle in a community theatre production of Beauty and the Beast. She didn’t know until years later that Kyle had been in the audience, mooning over her in the balcony. He was also 15 and couldn’t quite muster the courage to go talk to Rachel after the show. He and his family left the theatre and Kyle assumed he’d never see her again. Years passed and Kyle got involved with the theatre group. Rachel took some time off during his first few shows. Then, during a production of Fiddler on the Roof, they finally were involved at the same time. They became dearest friends from the start. He took her to dinner and the Opera (The Mikado) and asked her to be his girlfriend. 2 1/2 years of ups and downs and laughter and tears later, he brought her back to the same stage where he saw her for the first time and where their friendship had blossomed after their first meeting. He then got down on one knee and asked her to be be his bride. She said yes.}”
