As co-owner of Inlighten Photography with my husband Dean Bentick, I get to chat with brides all the time about the planning of their day. From who will be designing their dress, to the reception location, to all the small details of the day. For our photographers to get a thorough coverage of everything, allow enough time to shoot it all, and recommend a location that suits – we need to know everything! And call me crazy, but I love it!

What I’ve also found is that every bride has so many questions, and so many items to tick off their to-do list. And having seen so many different weddings, ideas and suppliers over the years, I thought it would be great to feature a few of these items in a series of videos.

Today’s modern bride is a busy woman! Juggling work commitments, a hectic social life during the engagement period and planning a wedding means she’s got to be decisive, organised and in touch with her own desires so that she knows the right item when it comes along. And usually this all occurs during her work lunch hour (and maybe after 4pm on a Friday!). So we’re making our video pieces short and informative, and will aim to bring the best bits of the wedding industry to your desk top. You can then pick your favorites and simply go ahead and book them in.

Today our first piece is featuring the Ultimate Wedding Planning Party, which is coming up next week, on Thursday 25th August at the Sydney Opera House. For more information on this extremely glamorous bridal event, check out our latest video attached. And look out for more videos to be posted soon!

Ms Gingham says: Rachael has done such a great job of this video … can’t wait for the next one!
