Barbara and Wyatt
Today’s wedding comes to us from an Australian photographer who flew to California to shoot Barbara and Wyatt’s wedding day. Barbara and Wyatt married in Sonoma and made everything they could to create the day they wanted.
Barbara recalls how they met. “We met through a mutual friend, it was love at fist sight and I couldn’t wait to tell my best friend all about this new man that I’d just met. Tall, dark and handsome.”
Photos are captured by Whitewall Photography who had a lovely relaxed feeling to the captures of the day.
Barbara and Wyatt married in Sonoma Valley. Barbara explains, ” The house was designed and built by the groom’s boss and friend. Surrounded by vineyards and 150 year old oak trees in the Sonoma Valley. ”
Barbara walked down the aisle to Bon Iver Re:Stacks.
Barbara says “We loved doing all of the elements ourselves, if you’re thinking of going all DYI I can suggest doing it from start to finish. Online blogs are a great help if you work together you can do anything. “
Of their photographer, Barbara notes “Whitewall are based in Australia but flew over to shoot our wedding in California. Scout is such a great person and really fit in with the whole wedding. “
Of the decor, Barbara says “Because we crafted everything by hand there was a lot of love and attention put into everything. We kept it simple, organic and rustic in nature to match the feel of the surrounding. ”
Of their first dance, Barbara recalls “We danced slowly to our favourite band Bon Iver while all of our friends and family watched on. I will never forgot this moment. ”
Congratulations Barbara and Wyatt on your marriage. Thank you to Whitewall Photography for sharing this wedding with us.
