Happy Monday Dotties! Did you have a lovely weekend? I’m happy for a full but exciting week- it is after all the week of love and we intend to celebrate every moment of it!
Let’s take a look at our Directory. We have such passionate wedding vendors in Ms Polka Dot’s Wedding Directory! We have Entertainment, Favors & Decor Accessories , Photography, Styling & Hire and to pull it all together? Wedding Planners!
Today’s cinematographer, Living Lens, is our vendor of the week. Based in Queensland, Peter and Emily of Living Lens create stunning wedding films that aren’t corny or cliche, but moving and beautiful! Basing their films on “real people and real stories” Peter and Emily seek out the real stories of the day and not just the traditional ones either!
We asked Peter and Emily from Living Lens five questions in five minutes –
What is your favourite after five drink?
Love the crispness of a good cider. We are currently working our way through all the new varieties that are now available… it’s a tough job!!
Your favourite weekend getaway?
We live in paradise, so why would you want to go anywhere else! A night or two across at Great Keppel Island with its magic blue water and white sand is amazing, and only a 30 minute boat ride from our home town of Yeppoon in Central Queensland.
Oriental Tea House (Melbourne) – DUMPLINGS!!
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Bacon, eggs and peanut butter on toast… don’t knock it til you try it!!
Your favourite wedding story?
Wedding stories are our passion! We love finding the small stories that are individual to each of our couples, especially when they have gone to such an effort to make their day personal and unique. Things like Lauren including a token of her Nanna who had passed away on her bouquet, or Nat & Kenny taking the time to learn a a full on routine dance, or Jade & Adrian who not only wrote personalised vows, but learnt them by heart! Every wedding has a beautiful story to be told – and finding them is what we love to do!
