Arajilla Retreat offers three types of suites to guests, knowing that every guest is unique and wants the most relaxing getaway they can get. The Arajilla suites have two bedrooms and bathrooms with a separate living room and outdoor decks. Nestled in the forest, they’re perfect for the couple who wants some privacy! The one-bedroom Kentia suites have an outdoor deck leading directly down into the Kentia palms, just a short stroll away from Old Settlement Beach. Meanwhile, the beautiful Banyan suites give guests two levels of ‘leafy and lofty’ luxury.

I am lucky enough to have a brother who works at one of the resorts on Lord Howe Island, so I managed to get there earlier this year. The thing that struck me was how untouched it was – so clean and breathtaking. They only allow a certain number of people on the island at any time to preserve its beauty, which makes it a unique and exclusive experience. The best part for me was swimming in the warm beach waters with wild sea turtles!

We stayed at Arajilla Retreat for our honeymoon last summer and had a lovely time. We enjoyed being so close to the beach, plus the spa was amazing too. Highly recommended.
