The festive season is almost upon us, and taking inspiration from the gorgeous table-settings and elements of this time of year, I’ve put together an easy but effective DIY that will suit any nature-inspired wedding! You’ll only need a few items and a space to let paint dry.

You will need:

– pinecones (as many as there are available – we scavenged in our local botanic gardens!)

– gold metal paint

– tags for names (you can go nuts on this!)

– newspaper for paint work and drying

Method

Step 1. Ensure the paint has been shaken before opening and dipping your pinecones in one by one. Halfway is perfect!

Step 2. Allow the pinecones to dry on newspaper.

Step 3. Add your name tag by tying it to the bottom of the pinecone, write out your guests names and set your table!

So easy! You could go nuts and coat the whole pinecone, or just brush the sides so the tips of the cone are gilded.
