There is a saying of Monet’s that goes, “I must have flowers, always and always” and today’s stunning modern wedding inspiration, filled with the most amazing blooms is so beautiful, it may as well be a painted work of art.

With the soft sage green of olive branches paired with jewelled pinks of cymbidium orchids, beautiful hydrangeas and loose trailing blooms that mix the tones of dark and light to create the dark romantic vibe.

Stylist Brooke Kilo of  Yellow Lane Wedding & Event Designs teamed up with a local team of Wagga Wagga & Albury wedding vendors, including photographer The Bower Co, floral designer Scooter Flowers, stationer Heart String Design & Print, hire company Gather Vintage Hire, cake designer Little Red Robyn who baked up a beautiful storm, and makeup artist Boudoir Hair, and hair stylist Boudoir Hair  made over our model wearing gowns from Ferrari Formal.

As we glide throughout the occasion, throughout the floral splendour, we are welcomed to a lush, overflowing table filled with sweets, cheeses and berries,  a beautiful bundt cake dripping with caramel sauce, a gold leaf masterpiece and a simple cake topped with sugar flowers.

Brooke notes “The inspiration came from a desire to showcase local talent, and to create a bold, flirty and deeply romantic shoot. I wanted to show the contrast of big, clean white walls, the beaded and lace details of the gowns and the wild pink blooms.”
