Sarah  & Justin

The wide open fields of the Australian farming landscape are very close to my heart and Sarah and Justin made the most of them in their casual farm engagement, with photographer Jessica Turich behind the camera.

The ploughed fields, natural mountains and wide open skies made for the most beautiful backdrop for these country lovers to celebrate their engagement. Let the countdown to their wedding begin!

The romance kicks off with the story with the tale of how they became engaged. Sarah remembers “We spoke about engagement quite early on really, so it was always on the cards. Justin was heading off to Canada for 9 months and we discussed engagement before or after he went and decided after. But he ‘went to have a look’ in the jewellers on Monday, and ended up walking out with a ring! So he rang my Dad the next day (on his birthday) and got the go-ahead, then waited until Saturday night to surprise me. He took me up to Picnic Point (I had no idea what was going on) and proposed. It was such a beautiful surprise and both our families were able to celebrate with us straight after – they were all in on it too! I’m so proud of them for keeping the secret! And so proud of him for picking the best ring!”

On what she loves about Justin, Sarah tells “I love Justin’s calming personality – he’s so easy going, casual and takes things as it comes. It’s been a pretty good learning curve for me to not have everything planned out months ahead – it’s all going to be ok! He’s very sweet and supportive and he’s just more than I could have ever asked for! And he has a good sense of humour!”

Remarks the bride “Every day is fun and a laugh, too many good memories to pick just one!”
