We all remember balloons as part of the magic of childhood- tied to your wrist so they didn’t fly off, adorning birthdays, celebrations and everything in between. They’ve also become such a fun decor idea to add to wedding decor over the past year and today? We’re exploring plenty of fun wedding ideas inspired by balloons in one magic inspiration shoot!

Our vendor team of photographer Tin Drum, stylist Pimp My Balloons took to the country estate of Summerfields Country House and dressed every corner with balloons, giving plenty of inspiration for how to use this fun trend in every element of your wedding day.

Joyce, of Summerfields, explains “As kids, to us, balloons were synonymous with parties and fun. As adults, the shape of the big, round balloons gives a sense of happiness (especially when they are floating in the air!). So, when it comes to the biggest day of our lives, no wonder that in recent years, we are seeing more and more balloon decorations in engagement shoots and weddings, which definitely adds a fun and personalised touch to the usual decorations. When a couple of suppliers including Pimp My Balloons met up and had a chat, the ideas are so good we decided to organise a photo shoot to capture the visualisation. ”

The conservatory was set with pastel toned garlands providing a backdrop to the long table, complemented by floral inspired stationery pieces by  Xandra Yuwono Design & Illustration.

Our bride made over by Ellegant You dressed in a gown by Bridal Tailors, taking centre stage with her husband dressed by Mickey Blue as they wandered through the grounds. Joyce explaining “The couple featured in this shoot, Jennifer, and Mark, recently celebrated their first anniversary. Having them back to the venue where they got married added a meaning to the photoshoot.” Outside, Mornington Peninsula Events added their garden games and oversize letters for a little extra touch of fun.
