Lauren & Jack’s Romantic Sunset Beach Engagement

Lauren & Jack

It was over Kanye West that Lauren and Jack first spoke. The pair, who were each out with friends at a nightclub, came to talk when Jack asked Lauren if she liked the artist. The rest, as they say, is history and somehow, one little question ended up in a beautiful sunset beach engagement captured by Translucent Photography and aren’t we lucky to share it? The backdrop and golden light make for the most beautiful photos and we’re sharing them all today!

On what he loves about his future wife, Jack remarks ” I love how much she cares for others, almost to a fault. And she makes me laugh. A lot.”

Jack proposed in London, the bride to be explaining “I had said to Jack numerous times how much I loved Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in London. So on our anniversary, we went for a walk through the parks, not knowing he was planning on proposing there. To our bad luck there was a music festival on in Hyde Park and hundreds of people everywhere, so we made the walk to the other side of Kensington Gardens, not realising how long it would take to find the particular spot he wanted, how hot their summers got and how busy those gardens were too. I was complaining the whole time we should just go somewhere else for the day and Jack was stressing and sweating bullets knowing I wouldn’t want him to propose in front of so many people, as I hated strangers attention on me. After hours of wandering aimlessly, we ended up in the hotel room he got for the night, overlooking both gardens. Then at sunset in front of the large bay windows, he popped the question. It was private, technically looking over the gardens I loved and exactly what we wanted.”

“I love his ability to brighten up any room, he is the funniest person I know and makes me laugh every day without fail,” tells Lauren of Jack.
