In a world where trends dominate and new ones pop up every week, there is something breathtaking about an editorial of beautiful bridal pieces that focuses on something a little different.

The bold sparkling jewels, earth-toned floral arrangements, golden expansive fields and beautiful detailed gowns all shining brightly today as this dream team pulled together a shoot that was inspired by magic, for a bride who loves a little lace, but with an edge, who loves a little luxury, but with a sense of the raw, who loves a little dream, but with plenty of spirit.

Captured by Sweet Mary Photography, model Katie Hamden took on a dramatic style for this shoot, in two parts. Dressed in on-trend pieces by When Freddie Met Lilly, Katie donned bold, statement jewels from Christie Nicolaides via Beyond Your Wardrobe. Her hair and makeup (by Touch of Utopia and Urban Miss Makeup) picking up bold smokey eyes, and eventually, marsala toned dark lips for look number two.

Floral designer The Secret Garden Floral Studio created two distinct looks in blooms for the shoot. An earth-toned bouquet of peach, browns and creams spoke softly for look one, while a more dramatic arrangement of black roses, paperbark and dry palm fronts complemented the marsala, peach and pink crown of flowers.

Photographer Katie noting “She’s innocent yet courageous she’s bohemian but with an edge. This girl has a wild heart but she’s mysterious and enchanting.”
