Broome has to be one of the most spectacular backdrops in Australia. The turquoise blue waters and rich red soils make for an undeniably majestic combination and today’s editorial is all about celebrating the rawness of the Kimberley region, with a little whimsical fun!

With Julia Rau Photography behind the camera, our bride donned a vintage-inspired, two-piece wedding gown from Zolotas Australia and carried a bright bouquet styled by Broome Florist that was complemented with a flower crown and fun floral anklet. In a world where colour palettes are serious business, the fun rainbow tones of the florals and bright turquoise balloons add a little whimsy and relaxed style.

As the sun set, Broome Vintage Wedding Hire set up a fun floral-clad wooden tipi in the golden light for our newlyweds that made a statement against the famous Broome sunset.

Photographer Julia tells, “Broome may be a small town but it boasts larger-than-life natural beauty with its gorgeous white beaches, kissed by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. This remote Kimberley town is blessed with a subtropical climate and is a favoured wedding destination for couples from all across Australia and beyond.”
