Celebrating Spring in all its glory, this romantic vintage countryside wedding inspiration shoot pulls everything we love about this season together!

Oakland Events crafted images that speak to the combination of rustic and vintage, using solid timber furniture and cut crystal glassware. They share, ”We drew a lot of inspiration from the elegance of the vintage era and also from the laid-back feel of the countryside. I thought, why not combine the two themes by pulling several different elements from each.”

With a wedding reception table set in minimal yet luxurious pieces, soft and romantic fabric from Event Art was used as a table runner. The centre of the table was laden with vases wrapped in hessian, filled with dahlias, hyacinths and natives blooms from Red Vanda Flowers. Keeping the palette neutral with touches of peach and bright Spring greens added to the whimsical feel of the day.

The stylist shares of her inspiration, ”The theme focuses on combining the woodsy characteristics and homey feel of the countryside with the romantic and classic elements of the vintage era. The styled shoot tells the story of a couple who met and fell in love at the same park they will marry. The park provided a natural, idyllic setting that served as the background for the unforgettable occasion. The area where the tablescape was shot had a perfect wooden ‘mini bridge’ over a small lake which really brought out the rustic charm.”

Gorgeous cut glassware from Betty May Vintage complimented the earthy tones of the furniture from My Sweet Event, with a semi naked buttercream cake from House of Cake decorated with fresh flowers, standing tall on a vintage ladder.

An archway of wisteria was the setting for the table, with mismatched chairs and silver cutlery completing this classic countryside vintage wedding. The bride was dressed with inspiration from the 1940’s, effortless elegance defining her look.

There is an abundance of Spring wedding inspiration at hand here, with crafty creatives working together on this gorgeous vintage day!
