If there is one thing Australia does well, it’s wildflowers. Today’s editorial makes the most of the magic fields of wild blooms that flourish and pop their heads out as Spring draws nearer. It’s all bathed in the most brilliant golden light, that only Australian has and the result is so utterly beautiful, we couldn’t wait to share every capture with you.

With the concept dreamt up by Callum of Callum & Co, the photographer took to the country with our bride, Daisy Case, dressed resplendently in a gown by Karen Willis Holmes and carrying an oversized, organic bouquet of flowers and greenery, tied with cascading ribbons by Ollie & Gabbie. The signature landscape providing the most beautiful backdrop for a couple who embodies the relaxed, rugged beauty of the Australian country.

Callum shares “This styled shoot was put together to showcase the natural beauty of the seasonal wildflowers of Western Australia’s wheat belt. We set out to create a series of images that was stripped back, natural and whimsical. A focus was put on the feeling of young energy, rich with love and authenticity.” Callum even sharing a poem with us, inspired by the photographs he captured (scroll on down!)

“paper daisies breathing through the wind.
she is delicate
she is strong.
half rock, half petal by nature
raw by choice, she is the epitome of simplicity, yet crafted by fine
complications.
each piece of her puzzle, so meticulous

the land is her guide, where she may grow
dictated by her elements.
effortless
graceful

she is poised, she is fluid
yet soft
yet content

as she wanders barefoot through her muse
her delicate feet submit to her surroundings.
she dances for herself
embraced by her ambience.

her hair flirts with the wind
filled with young energy, she is rich with love
she is delicate, she is strong”
