Flower Filled French Romance Wedding Ideas

Spring takes all forms, it doesn’t have to be easter egg pastels, in fact, it doesn’t have to be pastels at all. It can be deep, moody antique rose tones, it can be beautiful peaches, soft pinks and marsala’s. This take on spring, on floral abundance, is exactly what the team behind today’s utterly romantic, french inspired editorial brought to life.

Sheri McMahon Photography, who we always adore for her romantic, fine art style captured all the details, while Lina of Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling worked her magic touch on both styling and florals to pull the look together.

The team were inspired by the buildings of France, the tall windows, the stunning architecture driving them to create a look that embodied French romance in good old Sydney.
First, the setting – Sheri and Lina stumbling upon Desk & Studio, which turned out to be just what they wanted. Models Daria Busse and Juan Val acted as the bride and groom, Daria dressed in two beautiful gowns (one two-piece beautifully beaded, another in romantic lace) from White Meadow, wearing pieces from Roman and French and styled with beautiful hair and makeup by Nicola Johnson.

“The arched windows created such an impact and allowed for a French feel,” remarks Lina, “whilst the florals on beige, nudes with hints of peach, pinks and plum tones added a lovely muted contrast.”

And of course, we have to talk about the tablescape – Lina designing arrangements of blush pink, soft peach, champagne and antique rose tones, amongst textured greenery, both adorning the table and hanging in lush garlands over our reception guests. The table topped with gold flatware, beaded charger plates and fine crystal goblets from Take Me Hire. Finishing touches of black taper candles, silk ribbons Silk & Bramble and a divine stationery suite, adorned with calligraphy by Left & Willow Designs proved every detail was beautifully considered.

We’re always refreshed when we’re presented with ideas that escape the typical black and white, and if spring floral abundance is on your radar, and you want something a little different, scroll on down and soak in every little bit of beauty.
