I love the time of year when we get to look back and pay homage to the year that was. 2013 certainly had its highs and lows and while we are winding down for the year before the Polka Dot team have a break to spend some much needed time with our families.
We have seen the most beautiful images on Polka Dot Bride this year – incredible gowns, incredible flowers, delicious cakes, decor that wows me, shows that are stupendous and moments captured that take my breath away, stories that have made me cry, have made me laugh and have swept me up in their glory and emotion. There has been much wanting to ‘slip into a photograph’ and dance the night away with the newlyweds and much gratitude for the couples who have graced our pages.
Here’s to a wonderful 2013 we will never forget!
Here’s just a peek at some of the top posts of 2013 that you adored, shared and clicked!

Kailey and Ethan celebrated their wedding with a bohemian vibe on the beach earlier this year in Lorne. The couple married on a beach under a wedding arch they built by hand together.

We kicked off the year with a touch of glamour – an inspiration shoot of sparkle, gold and pink that you loved! Could a return to sparkle and shine be back on the wedding agenda? I hope so!

Kirstyn and Adam’s Australian Carnival Wedding captured by Jonathan Ong was one of our most viewed weddings this year and it isn’t hard to see why. The incredibly sexy, sophisticated wedding gowns of Inbal Dror crossed our pages this year and ranked right up there on your radar. The gowns are certainly show stoppers and such beauty is not lost on dotties!
